With collision and comprehensive (required on most auto loans) most likely 2000 to 3000 per year with high deductables Without collision, easily half that.
It wil cost about 2x the monthly car payment!

Depending on what state your in, if you are willing to take a on-line drivers safety course or even see if your parents are willing to put under their insurance, your premium would be high as this Mustang Gt falls into a different category when it comes to insurance. Liability. Best regards, Mustang Indy

850 T5 or S70 T5 Volvo if you want speed, safety, and reliability.
im also 16 with a GT. I comitted to it and went for the V8 5-Speed my insurance is 140 per/mo for just basic liability on it. Good luck with the newer stang though that will surely cost more
$2,500 a year. It is best to look into getting a co signer if you can. Because if you have a loan on the car you are required to carry full coverage on the car until you pay it off.
if u have a good insurance agent (and nice parents) they should check to see which car in ur family is cheapest to be under YOUR name in the insurance....my insurance put me on my moms Prius and my dad on my Trans Am because it would be cheaper, i just paid my parents for MY cars insurance, went from 1200 a year down to 900 a year just by having a more 'experienced' driver

it'll probably be around 2-3 thousand at least until youre 18 then it'll slowly drop. but insurance will be high due to age amd sex, so being a male and 16 = high

... corporate irresponsibility, the most uncontrollable, ill-handling vehicle in North America, a vehicle even professional drivers have immense difficulty with, no other vehicle does more property damage on this continent, than Ford's Mustang. After a 16 year old's first traffic ticket in his V8 Mustang GT, expect insurance to spike, well over US$3 thousand, to as high as US$5200 per annum. That a 16 year, old having incurred a 2nd traffic infraction or an accident in his V8 Mustang, will subsequently render him uninsurable, even for an economy subcompact, even the most obtuse of parents would have no choice but begrudging concede, putting the boy in a subcompact made good, in the first place --
I need cheap insurance for a 17
How much would it be for a 2015 Ford Mustang for a 16 year old
You're too young for that car...get a bus pass or a Honda Scooter...meep meep!!
your looking at 2500 per 6 months with like a 500-1000 deductable sry get a honda
being 16, you should be smart about your first car and not jump into a GT as insurance will be more expensive than your car payment. Start out with something a little more economical and work your way up to a GT.
I'm not sure there are enough hours in the week to pay for your insurance, but count on a minimum of $100 per month up to $250 depending upon your location, driving record, grades, etc. Brian has the best suggestion. Youth and inexperience, generally does not mix well with a high performance car. If you love Mustangs, check out an older model 6 cyl, and work your way up. You will probably live longer also.
Bring your personal lube and be prepared to have it hurt to sit down for a few day.
Im in the same position bud. Im buying a 2004 wrx and working my way up to a 5.0 302ci mustang its better than that 2006 3 valve. Save up im tellin ya and just wait till youre older like 19 or 20 trust me. Plus those early 2000 mustangs are a pain . They always need fixin

How much would insurance be for me I'm 17 years old and looking to get a 2003 mustang base V6 with 130,XXX miles. Any ideas on what the insurance would be

David, I'm 17 and buying a 06 v6 standard mustang. My monthly insurance costs for full coverage are $86 or $1032 annually. I have erie auto insurance and the cars titled under me and my mom. I was quoted $68 a month or $826 annually for a 2006 mustang gt deluxe automatic with 170k miles for full coverage. However for a 2005 mustang gt deluxe automatic with around 100k miles I was quotted $218 a month or $2618 annually for full coverage. Not sure what rip off company these other tards are with. Don't listen to em or let them discourage you. If you could find a 2005-2006 mustang gt with 130k or more miles that you know was well maintained, buy it. Or buy almost any year v6. The mileage affects the cars value and thus influences the insurance quote.
I'm 17 years old and I want to know how much would I pay for a mustang 1967 fastback
I am a 20 year old male and have had 2 v6 mustangs one being a 2005 and the one I have now is a 2012. However I am looking to sell it and get 2007 or 2008 GT just to have that V8 rumble. Anyone have any ballpark numbers on what my insurance would be?
Dudes! Call an insurance company! All we can say here is a young male buying a muscle car is going to pay a LOT!
I'm 18 and I pay 300 a month for full coverage. I drive a 2006 gt convertible mustang. That's my experience.

I'm 18 yr old male with good grades and am a passive driver (Can't be for sure, haven't been on the road long enough) paying $300 (quoted by State Farm) for a 2007 Ford Mustang deluxe with a v6 engine. I can't be for sure about what the other commenters are saying they have $90 insurance with full coverage, that much would be for a family car. If you're wanting to buy a high-performance car such as a sports car. I would be ready to dish out about $600 monthly or $7,200 annually (That's how much I pay each month) for a high-performance car then by all means. If u get a v8 engine then I would guess it would be more expensive but it may stay the same price. But if your tight on money I would suggest buying a family car.
i have my first mustang im only 5 years old
I am 119 and drive a solid gold Rolls Royce ;)
So if I’m 16, I’m trying to get a 1994 mustang gt, how much would the insurance be and are there any ways I can lower the price? Any deals to make with my parents to help me afford it? And how much money on estimate would I be spending in repair / management of the car? I don’t hurt the engine and am really easy on them, but idk how often things will need to get replaced.
Don’t get a 1964 Mustang GT please it will break down in a month. Also it pretty slow any 2010 toyota is practically faster.
I recommend getting 2001 bmw m3 if u look hard enough you can find them for 5k. And for a 16 year old kid Ik all u care about is excelleration and top speed. But if ur looking to get a car to pick up girls ur gonna need something a lot newer.
I’m 16 how mich would it cost for a 2010 5 speed gt

or just get a v6 model and drop a 4.6 in there get the wiring harness all that the mounts everything should almost bolt right up then youll be payin on a v6 when in reality your driving the v8
I'm a 15yo male almost 16 and I might get a cammed 95 mustang gt from a neighbor. definitely dont wanna pay 4k a year on insurance that's what I've been quoted. does anybody know about how much it would cost if I got something like plpd or like the lowest coverage and in my parents name? I'm really concerned about insurance because I'll be paying for it myself and I'm trying to find a way to get the cheapest possible rates, I'm already looking into stuff like security systems and a backup camera to lower insurance rates, but it's still way too high to put it in my name. someone please help
