On my Honda 2005 Odyssey van, I recently had problems with the left sliding door after the battery went dead.

Asked by ThomasBJ Feb 03, 2016 at 06:12 PM about the 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Driver side automatic sliding door stopped working after my battery went
dead.  I think the latch on the passenger side was not closed completely
and drained the battery.  So I replaced the battery (with a larger battery)
and suddenly the passenger side started working!  But the driver side door
would not work.  Please help me figure this out so I don't have to spend
$500 plus as the Honda Dealer!  Thanks!

My right side sliding door stopped working soon after I bought the van used. I don't know why. Maybe it's the motor.
