My 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible top is closed but the trunk is stuck in the open position. How have some of you dealt with this in the past? What might I be able to do to fix it?

the motor for the trunk may be siezed, you will need to replace it or get it serviced. Anything that 'moves' at some point will break or stop working, could be just some lube or something stuck where it hinges.

When my trunk started doing this I would just have to wait about 15minutes before trying to put it down again. But now, even waiting doesnt do anything. Is there a way I can add hydraulic fluid to it? Im not sure how to even get to the area to add the fluid in. Anyone??
