Chrysler removed the trans dipstick because too many owners were adding the incorrect type of fluid or to the wrong levels. You now only check trans fluid level if experiencing trans problems or under specific conditions. The opening for the trans dipstick in directly on the pan (should be a stubby tube marked "dealer only), it's designed that way because you need to check fluid level at a specific temperature and on a special dipstick as used by service techs. If that sounds infuriating, apparently many Chrysler customers think so too.

These are supposed to be sealed units and you should not have to check it.. Are you having transmission problems?? If not, just drive the car and don't worry about it.... Unfortunately, these cars are NOT known for quality,. depending upon how many miles are on your car, now would be a great time to consider selling it....
