OVERHEATING
I have a 2008 chrysler sebring hard top convertible with a 3.5L V6 engine.
Had a local mechanic replace the water pump and he Overheated the
engine,
as there was white smoke coming out the both exhaust pipes at 72,000
miles..
I took it to another shop hed the heads machined, valve job done along
with new head gaskets. About 3 weeks ago (at 82,000 miles, 8 months
after head gasket job) had knock sensor replaced after the check engine
diagnosed it as the problem. The cat still overheats, replaced
radiator, water pump and thermostat in the last 3 months. It runs normal
temp.for 45 minutes and water and steam starts coming out the relief hose
out of the expansion tank, which was replaced about 18 months ago.
