If the starter just clicks, that's probably due to a dead battery. Try to jump it; if the starter strains but the engine doesn't turn over, then it's seized and probably ruined. If it cranks but wont start, you might have a warped head from the overheating; that's fixable, but may cost more than the engine is worth. However, if the engine does start with the jumper cables on, don't assume you are out of the woods -- it overheated for a reason, and you will have to diagnose and fix that problem before you start driving it again.
ok, so i got the car were it will turn over the engine turns over and while i was doing all of this trying to start the car oil started pouring on the ground coming from somewhere any advise?
I fixed the oil leek it was the oil pressure sensor was melted so I replaced it still having starting issues, I hooked it up to a diagnosis detector and it say misfiring, fuel, 02 sensor, catalyst, evac and has a code p1193 which I am having a problem figuring out any advice, is one thing doing all of this?
