Is it possible to add in 4x4 to a trailblazer, even if by factory it didnt come as an option??

Looking to purchase a 2008 Trailblazer but it does not have 4x4...its rear wheel drive with snow tires on it....is it possible for a mechanic to add the 4x4 parts or does that involve way too much work and prob best to just buy one with 4x4???

You could do it but it would cost more than just buying a 4x4 to begin with. I would sell your car and buy another one with the features you want.

Thanks for the input...!!!....I really like the Trailblazer but not sure if I'll be as satisfied without 4x4...not sure how it will drive with just 4 snow tires and without 4x4....again...rear wheel drive and from what Ive seen in past..rwd is not the best in bad winter conditions.... thanks again....
