2008 F150 issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently there has been a sound of liquid coming from behind my dash when
accelerating.  Took it in and the replaced my intake manifold, cleaned the fuel system
and flushed the coolant as well as replaced my cracked serp belt.  Noise still there,
they checked the AC drain and nothing.  Now along with the noise I feel a thump on
the driver’s side when stopped and my check engine light came on.  Any guidance or
ideas?  Taking it back in tomorrow but already dropped $ on the first repair.

If the check engine light wasn't on before at least the labor should be free if not the whole job, if the noise is still a here and it sounds like a gurgle tell them to burp the air out of the cooling system I hope this helps you take care

There is a TSB about feeling a "slip/bump" feeling when coming to a stop or taking off from a stop. Look under your truck at your driveshaft. If you see a black rubber tubing like thing in the center of the driveshaft, that is your slip/bump concern. The grease inside that has dried out. Easy fix, $20 clamp and grease kit and 1/2 hour labor to correct. Google slip/bump TSB F150
