I have a 2000 Impala. When I got the car it seemed to have electrical problems. One issues I%27m worried about is that my blinkers will stop working out of nowhere. When I would put on the signal%2C the arrows on the dash wont respond at all. It would happen on and off when I first got it%2C I would just turn the car off and back on and they would work. A few months went by without a problem%2C then about a week ago it started happening again. They will just stop when I am driving%2C and sometime restarting my car wont help. I drove my car for about 50 minutes away and when I got off the highway, it began to refuse to accelerate when I was pressing the gas. The Transmission fluid was checked and was at a little over the limit and also smelt a little burnt. There was a slight rattling noise when I accelerated as well. When I turned the car off for a couple of minutes and restarted it, the car allowed me to drive it for about a block or two and repeated itself. I continued to turn it off and drive it for a few seconds each time to be able to get it to a safe location. I'm not sure if it is my transmission or spark plugs. Maybe a need of a tune-up.
