Hvac blower not blowing

Question type: General

The hvac blower in my car stopped working
if I stomp the floor on the passenger side it
would cut back on or if I hit a speed bump
just a little hard it would kick it back on.
Now it won't come on at all. No air blowing.
Replaced blend door actuator. Haven't
replaced the blower motor or resistor. Could
it be  loose wiring or do I need a motor
and/or resistor?

Most likely it's the resistor block. GMs have been plagued with this problem for many years now. Hope that helps! Jim

Hit the bottom of the blower motor with your hand or a hard shoe. If it starts working then you need a new blower motor. Had a 2010 HHR in the shop last week with similar customer experience. Motor had a bad spot in windings.
