08 malibu tiny leak?

Asked by Jordan Nov 17, 2020 at 01:24 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu Classic LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have and 08 malibu lt started to leak
yesterday. I thinks it's transmission fluid.
But it's coming from the bottom of the
radiator. What do I do and how can I fix
myself. I have a pic also. And it's not a
huge leak it's like a drop or 2

Inspect for cracks or other source of the leak. Odds are you will have to replace the radiator.

From what I could see I didn't see any cracks or anywhere else it could be leaking from I wanted to pull out the radiator to fully see if it is but if imma just do that I wanna replace the whole thing IDK. I just wonder if it's that lil rubber piece in that pic

A new radiator is about $100. The fluid is leaking onto that rubber bit, not coming from it.
