Does anyone else have a problem with the air conditioning on these cars not being as cool as it should with freon in specs and all appearing to be good in the system

Hi Joel, I've searched the internet extensively and have not come up with a difinitive answer to your question. Those that have had A/C problems seem to have terrible problems, but others have no problem at all. I would suggest that you have your compressor clutch checked - it may not be engaging completely or at the appropriate times. Good luck!

check your high speed cooling fans, these cars are equiped with lo/high cooling fans, if the low speed are working the car will usually not run hot, but they cannot cool the a/c coil sufficiently to operate properly. do you get a slight rise in engine temp after the a/c runs for a minute or 2?
