When does the light come on? Could be a sensor. Could be a worn motor. Are there any noises that indicate a loss of oil condition?

Had a similar problem and was told there was an error in the size of the oil channels in this engine and that the only way to solve the problem was to use heavier weight oil. Switched to 30w and problem solved.
