Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi I just replace battery on a 2004 passat awd and noticed a wire coming from the pos
battery cable sheath with a connector an the end. It is not obvious to me where that
pooped off of. Thanks for help.

I looked at perhaps a dozen wiring diagrams for the 2004 Passat and saw no extra wire from the battery that may have pooped off. (sorry I couldn't resist that one) have a look if you want and maybe I missed it at: http://www.google.com/search?q=2004+passat+wiring+diagram&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.

Thanks . The wire doesn't connect to the battery just shares the sheath around the positive battery cable. When i pulled that off this connector must have popped off!
