Electric folding mirror failure. What solutions are there?

The driver side mirror on my 2011 ML350
closed normally when I locked it, but is
failing to reopen unless I do it manually.

I am not sure how big of a help i will be, but on our truck it is a hit or miss.. Some of the time it will reopen, but when it doesnt we have to hold and press the middle of the place where you adjust the mirrors.

Thanks! This actually helped. I manually set my mirror, turned my key to position 2, and held the button down
