radiator/water pump repair

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

took car in to have water pump looked at as car was running hot, and rough.
garage charged me $680 saying it was the radiator, but less than 1 week
and I had to take it back as there was water leaking under car when I
parked, but car seemed to be running fine and not hot. Now they say it IS the
water pump, which is what I took it in for in the first place! They say another
$680! What gives...?

Take it somewhere else. $680 is insane for one part. They are ripping you off.
