My 2011 Buick Regal CXL makes a cackling noise when i accelerate.

Asked by aegbuick May 31, 2019 at 01:19 AM about the 2011 Buick Regal CXL Turbo Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I accelerate it sounds like a cackling noise underneath the car. I thought
it might be the cat converter but my mechanic doesn't think so. It seems to be
getting worse. Any ideas on what it could be?

Might be a bad CV joint, which are often described as clicking, clacking, or popping noises.
