heat/a/c

I have 2005 buick rendezvous cxl amd the
heat and a/c work fine the heat blows hot
and the a/c blows cold but here is the
problem with the fan turned all the way up
no matter which mode its in barely blows
out the vents. You can hear the blower
blowing hard just very little air comes out.
How can i fix this problem. Thanks

Yes blower fan defaults to high speed when there is an issue. Check the blower motor resistor that is where the different speeds are regulated. 1-5

That is NOT the resistor. If you can hear the motor going fast but not much is coming out then the damper is not closing all the way to shunt the air out. Check for a vacuum leak. If you find the leak it should clear it up and your vehicle will run better also. All of the HVAC dampers are controlled with vacuum diaphragms that open and close using vacuum.
