Question type: General
I have 2001 chrysler sebring lxi coupe with infinity sound system and infinity amp
(mr472783). The amp is blown and i removed it from underneath the passenger seat. Now
with the wires harness that were plugged in to the amp, i wanted to rewire so i can get
sound to the speakers.

The harness that went to the amp under the seat will plug directly into the plug that was leaving the stock amp.
Just plug the to identical harnesses under the seat into each other. This will make all speakers work without the amp.
Now if you are also adding an aftermarket radio get you an adapter plug for your model car. This will allow you to plug it directly into your wiring harness and then will have directions as to how to wire it to the new radio. Can get these at your local auto parts store or walmart.
The harness plug going into the amp and the harness plug going out are two different plugs. I would have tried that already and mention it in the thread. Nice try though
Oh ok. Mine were the same. Will double check mine in the morning. Might have had to remove another part of the harness to make mine connect together. But I know for sure that I did not have to hack the harness. Just plugged them back together.
