You could have an air pocket in the cooling system. Did you open up the bleeder screw while letting the rendezvous warm up after you did the w/p and thermostat?

Yes I did open the bleeder also I replaced the coolant temperature sensor and still overheat
Did you let ALL of the air out? You might try "burping" the system again. If that doesn't do it you might want to get the rendezvous pressure tested at a REPUTABLE mechanic. It might have a bad head or intake gasket.

I just had the intake manifold gasket and thermostat and water pump replaced why is the coolant temperature light hot saying hot. There's no leaks and when I pressed on the gas puddles it pulling to drive or to shut off.
