Why does my jeep sputter, idols low, and engine dies when A/C is on?

Asked by sikwayz23 Jul 07, 2015 at 10:11 PM about the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Turn the A\C off and car runs fine. Check engine light came on as well, but goes off after a little bit of time. Seems to act up more when it is hot outside. Just had the clutch fan, thermostat, serpentine belt, and water pump replaced about a month ago.

Ok, i appreciate ur input on this problem. That check engine light that has been on and off had registered a vacuum leak like the gas cap, which is was not.
