would a bad front drive shaft cause a transmission over temp alert?

Bad in what way? Have you checked the fluid level and color?
Fluid level is good, clean, and not burnt. I'm asking this question because I had my bad front drive shaft replaced and shortly afterward my jeep started throwing a "transmission overtempt" code. I took my jeep to the transmission shop and they could not find anything wrong with tranny so they replaced my emu (brain). I got the jeep back and in less than a week, it was throwing the same code. I made an appointment to get it checked out at the tranny shop but before I was able to get it there. The front drive shaft blew apart. I had the front drive shaft fixed under warranty and don't have anymore codes. This makes me believe, the new defective drive shaft was my problem all along. What do you guys think?
