I have a 2000 chrysler LHS havent had any problems untl yesterday. it just cut off at a stop sign.. tried to jump it and it turns over but wont crank. dont have the funds to buy alot of diff parts.

garden hose blast and small wirebrush don't cost that much. Needs proper grounding to come alive. Black cable to chassis/ground from black terminal must be wirebrushed and hosed clean, the other end that connects to the chassis, clean the post and surfaces with the wirebrush till clean...the 1/0 battery cable that runs from the engine to the chassis also should be solid and free of any kinda debris...the positive side has a loopy lollipop terminal which gets covered with corrosion such so I've joked that it looks like a 'small blue afro'...yuck wash that away, if it exists...get 'em all brite and fresh with excellent connections then turn the key.....we will begin looking at the critical elements of combustion...air, fuel, spark and timing (both ignition and valve timing) a number of smog control devices that will put you out of business, and the check engine light...all will cost you ZER0 dollars if handled correctly.
