Is there a reset switch for after you change the battery

Just replaced the battery and the battery light on the dash still comes on

Alternator or wring problem .Check all cables and have the output of alternator tested 13.4-14.8 volts at battery terminals engine idling.

When the battery light icon comes on it means the electrical system is not charging most likely cause alternator not charging battery.
