Asked by Debbie Jun 29, 2017 at 11:29 PM about the 2000 Chrysler LHS 4 Dr STD Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I start the car the smell of
gas is coming thru the air vents. I
am not driving the car until it's
fixed. I have very good car fixing
family so any help will be
appreciated.

The gas leak must be found in order to fix it. I would start looking under the hood.

Look under the hood around the fuel rail .. sometimes the fuel regulator fails and raw fuel leaks from it.
