There is an internal fault in the Power Train Control Module aka PCM. Your car is brain dead
David is technically correct. But don't dispair yet. A diagnostic will prove whether a sensor, or other input device is at fault, resulting in output error. Microprocessors (PCM's) are far more reliable than input sensors.
