2008 Subaru Impreza

Asked by Gaven Nov 09, 2017 at 04:45 PM about the 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Hatchback

Question type: General

I’ve found a 1995-96 Subaru wrx 2.0 engine and
transmission. Would I be able to (easily within
reason) swap that into my 2008 Subaru Impreza

That is a bad idea. The old engine is probably OBD1 which means it will not work with the 2008 ECU and your car will never pass smog inspection with an old engine in it.
