Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 99 Chrysler 300M  that I drive everyday. A few months ago i needed and had the thermostat replaced. Now  I drive this car all over town; highway and streets and haven't had a problem till yesterday while sitting in a drive thru waiting to get my order I see steam coming from under my hood. I take a look and Steam is being released from the overflow tank thru the venting hole. the whole time I was still getting a temperature reading on my dash, but by the end of the night all my coolant had steam out of the system. What would cause this? also, my fan DID come on but did little to cool the system, but it was only the fan on the driver side only. the Fan on the passenger side never came on and I try spinning it and every 1/4 of a turn it would catch on something, cant see what but it doesn't want to turn on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One fan is the primary cooling fan,the othet is the a/c fan sounds like the bearing in the main fan may be done replace the fan check for interchange so you dont have to pay the 300m price. Magum ect.hope that helps. Plz let me know if that fixes it
