If you start the car open the hood can you tell if the serpentine belt wobbles? or if the alternator is making the noise?
Everything is tight...it makes a noise like it needs oil but 10x worse. Especially when i accelerate.

These cars are notorious for the torque converter bolts backing out and hitting the inspection tin openings making that godawful racket I worked for chrysler and these, the breeze, and status always had this issue. On to the heat issue check coolant level, the Lxi model has a body control module that controls EVERYTHING in the car including hvac. This module can be procured at any wrecking yard how ever to have the correct mileage you will need the dealer to program it. If your model is v-6 equipped see if the noise is front, center, or end of engine. And get back to me so I can better help you.

Do you by chance what engine you have 4 or 6 cylinder and if it is the 6 cylinder is it the 2.7 liter?
How much would it cost me to fix this issue? Is it involve taking apart the engine?
What do you think about the temperature gauge stuck on C?

On your first question. 1.5 hrs to inspect and tighten torque converter bolts.at what shop rate is being charged do your home work first before trusting that the shop is looking out for YOU and your pocket. On the second a stuck open thermostat could be a really simple solution
