Tansmission slips when warm

120,000 miles 2.5 l V6 AT. When cold shifts firmlywhen it warms up nothing.I have to
shut off engine for 1-2 minuites then I get a burst for about 5 sec then open again. Fluid
and filter recently changed and I have now replaced the servo pak. When the trans goes
open there is a whining sound also

Sounds like the transmission is dieing a long slow death.
