I have a 2005 srx and I would like to take the factory radio out and install a factory Naviagtion system. When I remove the existing radio will the wiring be their to connect the naviagtion unit. And will it work.

Probably will not work - you should expect that the needed wiring and etc. will not be in place. Suggest you replace entire unit with aftermarket - Kenwood, Pioneer, etc that will have everything from NAV, to HD radio, etc. That option is cheaper and will give you a better system. Dash kits are available so that it will appear to be OEM.

Yes an aftermarket is a good option, but you will lose the factory display for all other settings, and information system warnings etc.
