Have A 2005 Cadillac Srx And The "check Engine" Light Comes On But My Code Reader Comes Up With No Read Out Except "00". The Vehicle Runs Fine Other That That. Any body got any ideas

Have A 2005 Cadillac Srx And The "check Engine" Light Comes On But My Code Reader Comes Up With No Read Out Except "00". The Vehicle Runs Fine Other That That. I Have Disconnected The Battery To Get The Light To Go Off But Then The Next Day It Comes Back On....anybody Have Any Answers To That?

I can’t remember what my code reader said exactly but it wasn’t helpful. Ended up needing a Fuel sensor gage. Was a 2 minute fix and part was less than $100. Light went off, ran better & used less fuel!
