Question type: General

I have a 1999 Chrysler Sebring 2 Dr JX Convertible 2.5 Liter V6 it has Disc brakes in the front and Drum brakes in the rear what I am wondering is if there is a Kit out there for this car to convert the rear brakes to Disc brakes or if there is not a kit what would have to be bought and done to convert the rear brakes to disc brakes?

Yes they make kits to do just that, but they're not exactly cheap - average price for these kits is around 500-600. Some (depending on car) can go lower, like around 300-350. Jegs, Summit Racing, JCWhitney, AutoAnything all have them. It's a good DIY project if you're handy. Keep in mind however that the front disc brakes handle the bulk of your stopping power, and rear disc brakes still have to have brake shoes with rotors that incorporate a brake drum so you still have an emergency brake.
