Transmission indicator turned red

Asked by bigmac33171 Oct 15, 2018 at 09:05 AM about the 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 ST Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i parked and put the transmission in park the indicator backlight changed
from white to green and the "R" lit up red. When I came back to leave
everything was back to normal the backlight was white and the indicator was
orange.

Hi there, my ram 2500 is doing the exact same thing, were either of you ever able to diagnose this?
