Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had my breaks and rotors changed all around, and i had a new ball
joint/ lower control arm put on and now its making a noise from what i hear
coming from the back and its never made this noise before, so im not sure
what it could be. It sounds like something is hitting something, or like
hammers hitting nails, also might sound like clicking noise. I'm not for sure,
ive never heard this noise before, and my breaks/rotors just got put on this
past sunday.

Yes,if you did not hear it when the brakes were first replaced, and you hear it now, something came loose,

Okay, well the breaks were just changed this past Sunday for the first time since I've gotten the car. But i will have it checked out when i take it down to the shop.

It's up to the shop you paid for the repair work to make this right.

Well i didn't have it done at a shop, because there were saying the cost of doing brakes and rotors and the part that was broke was over 1,200. So my boyfriend is the one who changed everything, i'm just gonna have it checked when i take it in to be aligned

Its your strut. the bottom bushing usually wears out so as it bounces it causes the strut plate to rattle and thump on the bolt rod.
