2012 Ford Fusion key stuck - shift problem

Left the sunroof open on my 2012 Ford Fusion
overnight, and had a sprinkling of rain. Now the key
gets stuck in the ignition, comes out only after I
mess with the shifter a few times. What part causes
the shifter to tell the key it's not in park? I'm
guessing this got wet and is malfunctioning.
