If you have a traction control switch you can turn the system off when it intervenes too much. Read your owner manual. I doubt you can disable this system by pulling a fuse. If only it was that easy.
I was getting a "Traction Control AND a "Stabilitrak" error message on the dashboard display of my 2011 Traverse AWD LTZ. It got so bad that during a LEFT or a RIGHT hand turn the back wheels would DRAG and cause a lot of mechanical resistance to the forward motion of the vehicle. I saw a video online that showed the location of the fuse to pull that would disable the solenoid that engages the electrically controlled locking rear differential. In my case, with my vehicle's problem, pulling the fuse worked. I can't remember which fuse it was OR if it was for the Stabilitrak or the Traction Control. I DO know that it is a BLUE 15 AMP fuse. I'm currently looking for that video again so I can figure out where to put the fuse back in for when I take the 2011 Traverse to the shop for an evaluation.
