2012 Chevy traverse lt

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check engine light went on. (Code p0442, replaced
purge control valve) now I'm getting another code,
p0443, purge control valve electrical circuit. Any
ideas on how to fix this issue? Please help!

Did you have the switch on when you had the solenoid unplugged? Clear the code and see if it comes back if it does recheck the connection at the solenoid.

Had to unplug hose & wires to control valve, to change it out. Taped hose because it was loose. Plugged it all back in before starting again. Was wondering if maybe it's the wires going bad... But I'm not good with electrical...

Wires rarely go bad unless someone chops them up, I would inspect the connector itself the terminals may not be making the connection to the solenoid.
