Can I swap Escalade front captians seats for DeVille front bench seat?

I would like to purchase and Escalade, however I want the front seat to be a
bench seat so I can hold my Husbands hand more when we drive without
getting serious fatigue. Over the past 13 years we have traveled a lot and
hiked a lot and we are not getting any younger. He really likes to hold my
hand when he drives and I have been looking at  SUVs like the Chevrolet
Subburban & Tahoe, as well as the GMC Yukon since a few of them have the
front bench seat and the shifter in the colum. They are hard to find in good
condition so I was thinking maybe I just make the vehicle I want. I have
noticed that the Escalade has the shifter on the colum however no front
bench seat. The Cadillac DeVille however does have a front bench seat. I
was thinking of finding a place that could take out the captians chairs and the
center console and put in a DeVille front bench seat in its place. Is this
feasable or would it be better to find  a front bench seat from Chevrolet or
GMC because they are about the same size? I haven't purchased anything
yet, so when it asks for a related car I am just putting in one I have seen that
I want to buy.
