Of course it is best to fix problem but there is something you can try with no promises change oil and add some Lucas Engine Oil Stop Leak it may or may not work but it worked for me and it is worth a try.

Had the simiar issue recently, but wasn't losing oil that rapidly. Had to add quart or 2/month. Added STP with the oil change, that seemed to slow the "leak". But during a recent trip to dealership for an another problem, the dealer found a tiny leak in the valve cover gasket. Bought a part from auto shop (about 25$) and got it replaced with a local mechanic (70$). The dealership was asking hundreds of $ for the same.

I've had the same problem with my 2016 Accent. Even with Lucas. According to my research the industry standard for oil consumption is 1 quart per 1,000 miles. I had an oil consumption test as mine is still under warranty and I averaged 1 quart per 1,186 miles so they wouldn't submit it to Hyundai to see if it fell under warranty to have something done. I'd start with an oil consumption test if it's under warranty and if they can prove it's more than 1 quart per 1,000 miles you may have better luck than me. Otherwise I'm basically SOL. Certainly affects what type of vehicle I will look for in the future.

I have a 2012 Accent ( i call it an Accident). it has been using oil at about 500 ml every 500 K. Since it has 200,000 K it is well off warranty. My plan is to just keep adding oil. On the dealership front. I had a situation develop where the the car kept accelerating after taking my foot off the gas peddle. I took it to my dealer (it was still on warranty at the time) they said that I needed a new clutch that would cost $2000. but if I gave them the go ahead right then they would do it for $1500. Ive been driving stick all my live and know a bit about cars and know what a slipping clutch is like. I took the car away and looked at the gas peddle myself and found it sticky. Some silicone spray fixed the problem. I have never darkened their door again. By the way use silicone to lubricate the gas peddle WD40 will make it worse over time.
