Headlight mounting screw?

Asked by Lincoln Aug 15, 2011 at 01:31 PM about the 1997 Chrysler Sebring JX Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

what type of screwdriver/ allen wrench/ whatever fits into the mounting screw head? Looks like a sprocket. (Obviously, I'm a rank amateur at this stuff.)

Well, the tool is called a torx bit. If you wanna be a little more specific as to where it is or what parts its holding together I can tell you the size. You should be able to find a torx bit kit for a few bucks at any hardware or home improvement type place. The kit will have all the popular sizes in it. And I believe there is a few different sizes being used in the Sebring convertible so it won't be a waste buying more than just the one you need for this job.
