NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I worked at a chrysler dealer and their transmissions among other things are really crappy. Get a toyota honda or nissan for reliability.

Chrysler Sebrings are wonderful vehicles (especially the 01-03 convertibles). I personally would recommend this vehicle. I'm sure your son would really enjoy it. The particular vehicle you're looking at is about 13 years old now, so there are some maintenance things that might need to be taken care of (like replacing a few parts), but that is very typical for any brand of car at this age. Happy car hunting!

Absolutely not a good idea. Doing any kind of repairs or maintenance is a nightmare. You'll spend more money on fixing it than the car is worth. After helping my friend with his I wouldn't take one for free.
