The LCD screen is flashing a green light similar to the ones that display when backing up.

Asked by slrothrock Apr 07, 2014 at 03:31 PM about the 2012 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 RWD

Question type: General

While driving, the LCD screen displays an icon of the car with a green light blinking at
the rear drivers side.  This is accompanied with a chiming sound.  The blinking light is
what I see when I am backing up.  I've never seen it when I am driving.  I have wiped
off the cameras on the back thinking that they were too dirty for the cameras to see.
That didn't do the trick.  I could not find an answer in any of the manuals.  Has anyone
experienced this?

It could have been a faulty censor that somehow fixed itself. Keep an eye on it though

Wynand, thank you for your answer. I think you are right. The problem has occurred once since I posted the problem. I turned the car off then restarted it and it was fine. Thanks again for your response.
