Temperature sensor / thermostat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced water pump thermostat hoses
flange cuzvmy car was overheating now my car
when I turn it on the temperature on my display
rises quickly however my coolant isn't hot the fan
isn't turning on could it be my sensor?? If so do I
have to buy a new one or can I sand old one down
to make sure it is getting contact

You replaced he thermostat? Did you buy the right thermostat? The thermostat is designed to open at a certain temperature.

according to your description you must fix 6mm cable from battery negative to engine bloke or cylinder head

i just had a new thermostat housing put in now its throwing a code p0128 now the fan runs at turbo when i start the car can some help me out its a 2011 chevy cruze ls
