Question type: General

My 2012 Escape came with a remote starter, its the square, single button
type.I have no written directions and would appreciate advice on how to use it.
Specifically, what do I do with my key once its started?

http://accessories.ford.com/electronics/remote-start/series-100-one-button-remote-start-system-for-use-with.html ---------------------------Try this site and do your research based on the info it gives you. It is the system that Ford dealers use.

I have the single square button remote starter and all I do is hold the button down for 3-5 seconds. you'll hear the car beep, lock its doors and the ignition should kick in
