Dashboard lights

Asked by Suecalkins May 25, 2019 at 12:54 PM about the 2012 Ford Escape XLT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My dashboard lights come on when I am driving.   
But if I pull over and put it in park and back into
drive they go off, or I will have to turn my key 2 to 3
times before it starts.  I  had my ground wires
check and it still does it.  Does anyone have a clue
how to fix or what the problem is?

And the computer is got to shut off kills relay on cranking bypass up straight from fuse to fuel pump it will pump

have the same problem, it's the connection to the instrument cluster, give it a wiggle and it goes away for awhile

    On a 2010 F 150, are the dashboard lights suppose to be lit (on) when the head lights are off? I have a hard time seeing instruments due to no lights on dashboard lights during the day.
