I’ve seen people tow a vehicle in for trade and it also was not running. So condition will be a determining factor in how much you get for it on trade.

I've seen people tow in vehicles for trade, but they could get more for it by scrap prices. So usually any condition but the condition dictates just how much you will get for it on trade.

You need to discuss this with the selling Dealer. Cargurus is an advertising site only. Similar to Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. Most dealers will take anything with your name on a clear title, running or not. Trading in a junker saves you the trouble of having to get rid of it. Either way you'll probably get the same amount for scrap. Hope that helps! Jim
