bent valve question

Hi, hope some one can answer my question, Hit the oil pan and all my oil drained out. replaced the oil pan and added oil,however, when I tried to start the engine it does a knocking sound and and wont start. removed the gasket cover and checked the timing belt and its not out of place and the engine is not seized, is that knocking sound a bent valve or is there a valve calibration that is needed to be done?

Probably a bad rod bearing. I think your engine is toast.
