Cooling fans run after shut off. Never did this before. Have car for 7 years

Cooling fans running after shut off. I own car for 7 years never heard them



running before. Motor not running hot according to temp gauge. Fan shuts off



after a minute or 2.

If it's only a minute or 2 and doesn't drain the battery then I wouldn't worry till things get worse or something else happens , that's what I think

Sounds like a sticking fan relay in the underhood fuse box. Hope that helps! Jim

coolant thermostat sticky or coolant temp sensor bad. common problem on all gm v6 & v8
