2012 altima won't start

Asked by David Feb 05, 2018 at 03:00 AM about the 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2012 nissan altima won't start. I had the battery
disconnected while installing speakers and when I
connected it back all the lights came on but the engine
wouldn't turn over. When I depressed the brakes and
pushed the start button I heard multiple fast clicks then the
radiator fans came on. The brake is stuff and I saw the
brake lights dont come on. I replaced the battery, the
starter, and the brake switch and the car still won't turn
over. All the fuse everywhere are good so I'm stumped at
this point

scan for codes even if the light ain't on and get the definitions a memory saver may have been needed when you disconnected the batt . , which probably wasn't necessary , it's best to test things and do diagnosis before replacing parts to get an idea of what's going in but to each his own
